New You in 3 Steps (Controversial)

When it comes to change of any type we are trained to think that change is hard.

Most people believe that change has to be a struggle.

We expect to try and fail numerous times before ultimately giving up (or succeeding like only 3% of people do when it comes to weight loss).

But it really doesn’t have to be that way.

Think about this – how many people do you know who struggle with their weight?

They want to make a healthy change by getting in shape, but the change never seems to happen.

Don’t let that be you.  If haven’t made much change or you feel yourself heading down that road of thought that you’ll never be that person who transformed their body, then STOP!

Here are 3 steps to instantly create a lasting change and a new you:

Step #1: Believe that something MUST change.

Do you sort of want to get into shape, or do you absolutely have to lose the weight?

Does dropping a few pounds sound good, or is living another day in your current body simply unbearable?

In order to make a lasting change you must believe wholeheartedly that things must change – ONCE AND FOR ALL.

No one in history has ever made amazing change being wishy-washy about whether they want to make a dramatic change or not.

Step #2: Believe that YOU MUST change it.

It is vital that you take full responsibility in making the change rather than assigning responsibility elsewhere.

Sure, others may help you, but in the end you are the one who is going to make it happen.

You have to want this change enough to make it your personal mission – no one else can do it for you.

Step #3: Believe that the fitness program you are on WILL change it.

We are all so quick to bail on something if we think that it is not working or not giving us the intended result fast enough.

That feeling is common in today’s society with how fast we expect everything to happen.

Giving up on a proper lifestyle change because you didn’t lose at least 5 pounds in the first week like your co-worker did on that diet she read about in the checkout stand magazine is not the kind of mindset that will help you lose weight and end bad habits.

You have to understand that you didn’t put yourself in the position of being overweight in one day, one week, or even one month and you are not going to get yourself out of that position and into a better body in one day, one week, or one month.

It’s not easy to erase years of metabolic neglect in the form of low calorie diets, over eating, and, “on again, off again,” exercise routines.

But positive, life and body changing transformation does happen – for those who decide that they have had enough of the pain of being overweight and out of shape.

You are capable of making big changes in your life and body.

But do you BELIEVE you can?
